Default Libs take crushing blow in NJ

Liberals are in panic mode. Again. No, not because the temperature is 1 degree warmer today than it was yesterday. Because they lost big last night. Virginia, NJ, NY-23, all crushing reality checks for liberals. Their moment in time, their stars aligned, the time is rapidly passing. Their moment to pass all their dream agendas may have already eclipsed as America is waking up to the fact that liberal ideals and policies just don't work.

What a great day for conservatives. Even after Obama's desperate push in Jersey, they lost. Obama is on a 1 year losing streak actually. Health Care, immigration, the wars, the economy, the Olympics, Gates vs cop, VA/NJ elections........this guy is such a joke.

Anyway, can't wait for Bama vs LSU!

I've always wondered why you have a picture of Colbert in your profile.

Default You are right about Obama BUT....

do you think the important things (e.g.war, health care, overall economy) would be any better under McCain?..that said, he is pretty impotent....the only thing still propping him up is the media....

Coach3, nice to see you once again. Where have you been? To offer up an answer to your question ... No, it woudl not. This fiasco was set into motion during Bush-43 administration in 2008. But Obama has taken it and inflated it beyond the ever increasing expansion of the universe. You have not invovled yourself with our year long now commentary on this administration. What do you think anyway?

Cloward and Piven - not sure of the spelling of those name. Their philosophy was employed to bring down communism. Basically, spend it to death. All parties, to include existing power brokers in the then Soviet Union agreed to it. Saw the handwritingon the wall. Economically the USSR was doomed as the west surged in both wealth and technology. The USSR ended in one evening. Sam tactics are being employed now. Spend our nation into ruin. So far there are enough folks in this country who feel they're entitled to a free ride and millions of others who hate those who employ them. It was predicted.

Coach, I think health care ought to be left alone or an alternate plan with GOP support adopted. They are willing to apply new rules and regulations but the idea of the government, with an extremely poor track record when it comes to rectifying social engineering adn just take a look at Medicare/Medicaid, assuming the leading/only role is unacceptable.

As to the war. The target has always been Iran. It isn't a Bush mistake and isn't an Obama mistake at this time. This game came into being many, many years ago. In fact, the US told Saddam, "do what you will with Kuwait as it is an Arab issue". But keep in mind, that regardless of whoever is president, they and their administration don't conduct international policy. They carry out what they're told to do. You get elected because you owe those who made you what you became (prez). You will do as you're told. It isn't a GOP or democrat thing as both take oaths of fealty in order to exist.

Same thing in Vietnam. There was trade with the north and its allies even as we killed each other in the jungle. One money making game (war and profit) simultaneously operating with another one (trade and profit). When they say, "you're just a piece of meat" in the military - they are exactly right. You are an instrument.

No Duck. The man running the show right now has surrounded himself with socialists, communists and arachists. Avoided senatorial conformation and didn't bother to vet as they had the same ideaologies as the president and those who placed him into office. Remember this man was just a community organizer, only got into the senate because the GOP front runner and shoe in got caught up in a sex scandal and Alan Keyes was brought in to replace him.

Once Obama got into the senate he was virtually a no-show and immedaitely began to run for president. "Selected" by those who saw his charisma. Intelligent, a black man, highly educated and with a golden throat. To this day he can barely complete a sentence and must know what is going to be asked so his techs can provide an answer for him to utter via a telepromtper. His speeches are little more than campaign rah-rah's.

He can't make a decision because he is waiting to be told what that decision will be. He actually is an actor and is regarded as a hood ornament by his handlers. He is no more qualified than I to be running this country. His purpose is basically to make things law with his signature. Giving this man a chance? No. He isn't making any decisions anyway. The nation is being hijacked via the ruse this administration represents. It must be obvious to you that is exactly what is happening?
