Default I am now actually able t post my Top 50 plus comments

All I can say is WTF? Those teams that had been losing changed all of that today. Auburn, pounded for three straight weeks, took down Ole Miss, who appeared to have found the throttle coming into the game. USF, big losers in their last two key Big East games pulled off the magic they’d been known for against West Virginia. UNC, a team regarded as not having a chance in hell against VPI, pull off an upset. Indiana was on their way but a 28 point 4th quarter by Iowa but that dream to rest. Michigan, thinking they’d get back into their winning ways after three straight defeats, is manhandled by a one win Illinois. Miami, with all kinds of praise, finds themselves having to score very late to beat Wake Forest, a team that was seriously tanking coming into this game.

Then we have the surprise blowout wins as Oregon crushes Southern Cal in Eugene, 47-20. This is the worst defeat Oregon has ever hung on USC and the worst defeat Pete Carroll has ever suffered as the head coach. Texas, who had always struggled against Oklahoma State either in Austin or Stillwater, all but captures the southern division title in the Big 12 with a 41-14 trouncing over the best team the Cowboys have fielded under Mike Gundy. Florida continued in its domination of Georgia, 41-17. Tennessee has found its rhythm as they continue in their series domination of South Carolina, 31-13. First time I’ve ever seen Tennessee in black jerseys. It was also the first time I’d ever seen Georgia in black helmets.

TCU continues to obliterate its opponents as it crushed its third straight MWC foe, 41-0. Boise State, with its soft WAC schedule, won easily vs. San Jose State, 45-7. Penn State had to come back in the second half after Northwestern gave them all they could handle into the 3rd quarter. Both UConn and Rutgers engaged in virtually last second victory heroics with UConn’s coming with 33 seconds to go and Rutgers returning that glorious moment to win with 18 seconds remaining. Since the tragedy in Storrs, UConn has lost two straight by identical 28-24 scores.

Kansas State, who came into Norman a 28 point underdog, gave Oklahoma all they could handle as they turned a 21-0 deficit into a 28-23 cliffhanger before OU managed to score twice more in between a 98 yard kickoff return for a Wildcats TD. Sooners prevailed, 42-30. Up to this game OU had yielded no more than 21 and only one TD in five of their first seven games. KSU has turned the corner and I feel will win at least two of their remaining three games (Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri) to clinch the Big 12 north. Look out Texas, they’ve beaten you twice when you were heavy favorites (2006, 2007).

Cincinnati got by Syracuse as expected, Ohio State crushed totally outclassed New Mexico State, 45-0. Pitt took the week off as Notre Dame made bookends out of part of their season in beating both Washington State teams. They dispatched with WSU today, 40-14. Cal won on the last play of the game with a chip shot field goal at Arizona State, Utah came back in the 4th quarter to subdue Wyoming, 22-10, and Wisconsin buried what we believed was an improving Purdue, 37-0.

One thing is certain, the ACC is schizophrenic. It appears the only team who seems to realize that winning it what it will take to get a crown is Georgia Tech. The Yellowjackets went outside the conference and beat Vanderbilt impressively, 56-31. Boston College also got back to winning with a 31-3 rout of a solid Central Michigan who came in with only a single loss to Arizona. Alabama and Pittsburgh escaped this wacky and unpredictable weekend by taking the week off.

Florida made it back on top with a convincing win over Georgia. Alabama is in danger of slipping to third since Texas crushed Oklahoma State on the road to virtually clinch the Big 12 south. Here is my Top 50 for those of you who have any interest.

1 Florida (8-0) – Bulldogs play a great first half. Gators dominate in second half, 41-17.
2 Alabama (8-0) – Taking the week off. Next, they host LSU for SEC West title.
3 Texas (8-0)Texas crushes OSU, 41-14. They will win the south and go unbeaten.
4 Oregon (7-1) Ducks destroy USC in Eugene, 47-20. Biggest Duck win over USC ever.
5 Louisiana State (7-1) As expected, LSU buries Tulane,42-0.
6 Texas Christian (8-0) – Frogs continue to obliterate teams, crush UNLV, 41-0.
7 Boise State (8-0) – BSU dispatches another hapless WAC opponent - SJ State, 45-7.
8 Iowa (9-0) Luck continues to elude the Hoosiers while it is bountiful with Iowa.
9 Cincinnati (8-0) – Bearcats win as expected over Syracuse, 28-7.
10 Penn State (8-1)PSU comes back in 4th quarter to beat Northwestern, 34-13.

11 Ohio State (7-2) – Buckeyes easily defeat NM State in an OOC game, 45-0.
12 Southern California(6-2)– Oregon hangs worst defeat on USC in the Carroll era.
13 Georgia Tech (7-1)Tech crushes Vanderbilt, 56-31.
14 Pittsburgh (7-1) – Pitt gets over that performance slump with a 41-14 romp over USF.
15 Miami, Fla. (6-2) – The ACC is totally schizophrenic. Miami beats Wake by “1” point.
16 Utah (7-1) Utes continue to win. Come back to beat Wyoming, 22-10.
17 Wisconsin (6-2) – Rebounded with a blowout win over an improving Purdue.
18 Notre Dame (6-2) – Irish make bookends of Washington. Beat WSU, 40-14.
19 California (6-2) Bears have a tough time with ASU. Kick late field goal to win, 23-21.
20 West Virginia (6-2) – USF continues to prove extra difficult for WVU as Bulls win.

21 Houston(7-1) – Keenan puts on a show in a 50-43 scoring fest win over USM.
22 Oklahoma State(6-2) – Longhorns stampede Cowboys, 41-14.
23 Oklahoma (5-3) – Sooners struggle vs. much improved Kansas State, 42-30.
24 Texas Tech (6-3)– Struggle early vs. Kansas and then the offense kicks in, 42-21.
25 Virginia Tech (5-3) – Loss to UNC a major setback in Hokies’ efforts for ACC crown.

Teams receiving votes (Ranked 26-50): Boston College, Arizona, Oregon State, Auburn, Mississippi, Rutgers, Clemson, South Carolina, Stanford, Nebraska, Arkansas, Kansas, Brigham Young, Troy, North Carolina, Navy, Central Michigan, Texas A&M, Connecticut, East Carolina, Missouri, Kansas State, Idaho and Northwestern.

Jim, buddy.... your ATS picking record is now 40-61 ( .396) You haven't been able to post one single winning week this season to date. You're a terrific writer but as far as understanding relative strength in CF.....well.. have fun with the top 50 plus comment stuff :-)

Hen, my friend, while I have to put up with you on Sunday mornings, your wallet has to put up with you as well. BTW, how is it going with the finances this season? I realize you're a most probably a wealthy person by whatever means you have made it and I congratualte you for your success. Perhaps you can write off those losses as gambling losses with the IRS?

My $1600 'high water mark' balance is now $150......and Jim, unless you bail me out by offering your absolute best ATS locks ..(best 2, 3 or 4)I'll lose all before PSEG season which won't be much fun.. So how about it this week ?
Thanks.

Btw, I'm 52-44 for the past two seasons (.542)

38-22 playing dogs
14-22 playing favorites

I highly recommend getting points vs giving points for guys like us that don't know what we're doing.
