Its mid-October....Major League Baseball is really humming, and people are thrilled about the Yankees losing, and who the Red Sox will play, and why don't people respect the Diamondbacks...
It's halfway through the college football season, and the race for #1 is really heating up, and the conference races are starting to get fierce, and UPSETS, UPSETS, UPSETS
And in the NFL, teams like the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys are really starting to separate themselves from the pack...
And late at night, you get in bed with your wife and turn on ESPN, and see Lebron James face because the NBA preseason has started, so you throw the remote at the TV, and grab your gun, and go on a shooting spree, because THERE SHOULD BE NO NBA IN THE FALL, PERIOD
What is wrong with the head of the NBA?? "Gee, I think I'll start my preseason in October, and go head to head with both the NFL and MLB..."
NBA in the fall is lame, and they play a billiion games anyways...can't they start the season in January? I'm a moderate NBA fan and I follow the Spurs, but right now I could care less if the team was abducted by aliens and never seen again...ITS FOOTBALL SEASON!!!
I don't even like baseball much, but seeing or hearing about Joe Torre in New York, or the Cleveland Indians is kind of exciting...I don't mind sharing college football season with America's favorite past time. But the absolute last thing I want to see is Lebron James face on TV.
Please, someone kindly guide the NBA to its rightful place...the spring.
