That's good. The old Cotton Bowl stadium is a dump. Tradition rich, but still a dump.

did you go there for the Cotton Bowl vs. Nebraska?? I went there a couple years ago for LSU/Texas, and ya, its pretty bad...
the Dallas Cowboys stadium looks old and bad too...for a city that supposedly has alot of $$$, you'd think they would have bothered to renovate some of their cash cows...
the stadium in Houston is top of the line...

Aren't the cowboys building a $1 billion stadium that is opening within the next couple of years?

I was there. The city doesn't have a lot of money...the suburbs (Highland Park, Arlington) do.

Looks like the Rose Bowl will be the only "major" bowl that still plays in their original facility.
ROSE BOWL - Rose Bowl
SUGAR BOWL - Tulane Stadium & Louisiana Superdome
ORANGE BOWL - Orange Bowl & Dolphins Stadium
COTTON BOWL - Cotton Bowl & New Cowboys Stadium (in 2010)
I'm not counting the time the Rose Bowl was held in Durham, NC during WWII or when the Sugar Bowl was held in Atlanta, GA due to Hurricane Katrina damage to the Superdome.
