BELOW IS A PROPOSAL FROM ANOTHER BOARD

It's really simple, actually:

Play the regular season, as normal.

The last week of the season is "Selection Sunday": Top 4 teams are selected to play: 1 v 4, 2 v 3.

This is the interesting thing: The top 4 teams are picked ACCORDING TO THE LAS VEGAS ODDS: The teams with the highest odds of winning the Nat'l Championship are picked(!).

Why do we do this?

1.) It forces teams to schedule tougher (in order to "prove" their worth to the oddsmakers)
2.) It takes EVERYTHING into account already (strength of schedule, injuries, momentum, etc.) -- **This is assuming that people do SOME reasearch before placing their bets...
4.) It eliminates biases & forces people to literally "put their money where their mouths are."
3.) It's very simple

Oh yeah. The NCAA is going to support a partnership with gambling.

The solution is already known. Everyone knows what it is. If you can't convince the decision makers to accept this, it does not matter how many other alternative solutions anyone thinks up.
