I predicted back in 2003 that within a decade, South Florida would become one of the top 3 teams in Florida. I'm taking USF over Auburn, as it appears regardless of the outcome of this game my prediction has come true. With Miami down and FSU in a spiral, USF has to be the 3rd or even 2nd best team in Florida.

Speaking of that, whats with the Big East? Rutgers, WVU, Louisville, South Florida and now Cincinnati looking great vs a solid Pac 10 team? Don't look now, but the Big East is doing some big things. USF is going to be a top 25 finisher, maybe higher.

as bad as Auburn looked on offense their defense played very well last Saturday. By halftime Auburn had lost 3 starters off its defense and still held KSU to just 41 yards rushing. The game is at Jordan-Hare and USF gave up 200+ yards passing to ELON. If Auburn protects better this weekend I expect Auburn to cover the 7 points. USF likes to run the hurry up spread offense which is fine and dandy but they too have 2 freshman on their OL. With 87 K screaming in his ear Grothe will be introduced to Q. Groves more than once.

No not taking the bait, their is another team that resides from the state of Alabama that will have trouble in Nashville.

I'm quite confident that Auburn will win by at least a TD tonight.

Louisville? Yeah, they are a top 10 team until knocked out. Close games happen. Football is a dynamic game, MTSU put up an amazing effort and fell short. Can't let one close one knock what Louisville is doing and has been doing for a few years now.
