Tennessee wins the SEC by beating previously unbeaten LSU in the SEC title game. The Tigers, having the #1 BCS position prior to this defeat will slip but will remain in the title game vs. USC who will also lose a game (at Oregon).

Big Ten has a stellar season as a true balance exists among the top six teams (Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Iowa and Purdue). They will do very well in the post season and the SEC will go 4-5 at best. Oklahoma wins the Big XII by defating Missouri the second time around (after losing in Norman during the season). Florida State does a complete about face by defeating Georgia Tech in the ACC title game. West Virginia wins the Big East.

Hawaii, TCU and Southern Miss all go 11-1 (USM actually goes 12-1) and TCU gets the nod for the BCS bowl this year. Their only loss will be in Austin to Texas (or wil it?).
