It's a shame Arkansas and Texas don't play OOC every year since they joined the SEC.

Texas is back on our schedule next year and in '09. I agree (so does the UofA) that Ark vs Tex should be annual, and perhaps this will happen in the near future. BTW..... We had to drop TCU from our schedule this year (and next) in order to accommodate the renewed Texas game. TCU will be on our schedule in '10 & '11.
aTm would be another annual game I'd like to see renewed with the Hogs.

Two other rivalries that have been tarnished as a result of conference realignments...
Pittsburgh-Penn State
Nebraska-Oklahoma (annually at the end of the regular season)
Sorry, but Nebraska-Colorado, Nebraska-Kansas State or Oklahoma-Oklahoma State just don't have the annual national implications that the Oklahoma-Nebraska games did.
I always enjoyed watching the hard hitting Penn State-Pitt games because you could tell that they really didn't like each other (much like Alabama-Auburn).

This is one of the unfortunate consequences of conference realignment: old, longstanding rivalries fall by the wayside. Most of the young'uns around these parts aren't aware that Auburn and Georgia Tech began playing in 1892 and played every year from 1906-1987, at which time there were more Auburn-Tech games than Auburn-Bama or Tech-Georgia games.
And according to Tuberville, won't happen again any time soon!
