Guys, beware South Carolina State. I called them last year in the playoffs to make noise, and they didn't do much. Played App State very close in 1st round but lost. They were a year away I guess. This year the Bulldogs are loaded and are 10-1. Their lone loss to South Carolina Gamecocks, and they were down 10-7 at half of that one. S.C. State has an outstanding 1-AA team and IMO may make a final four run this year.

I'll keep an eye on SC State based on your endorsement, B90. That looks like a wide open field to me. Of course, I'll be pulling for the SAC quality programs with higher standards for players - William & Mary, Holy Cross, Richmond and Villanova.
I see Mt Union has opened its DIII playoff quest with a 55-0 win.

CJH, do you have a power index with numerical values and a HFA standard in your FCS ratings ?.......something that could be used as predictors ? These playoff games are offered at some off shore books.

No, it does not serve that purpose. Its purpose is to determine the standings of a competition.

It should be a good game in Boone. I've got my tickets and ready to head up the mountain. God I hate 12 noon games. Hopefully Armanti Edwards will be ready to play Saturday.
GO APPS!!!!!
