...I stated preseason that Georgia was AT BEST a 9-3 team but most likely an 8-4 team, and not surprising if they went 7-5. And that they were substantially overrated at #13 in the preseason poll and that they may not finished ranked at all, in the 20-25 at best. Much to the dismay of NCT and other SEC homers on this forum.....

They are currently 4-3 and unranked with Florida, Auburn, Kentucky and Georgia Tech still left.

I stated Michigan would be a 4-4 team in the Big 10 this year, at best. Currently Michigan is 1-3 with games left vs Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois and Ohio St. That also met with some level of disagreement.

Hmmm.....

The one everyone was on the bandwagon with, especially after the first week of the season was that BYU would the best bet for a nonAQ team to get not only to the BCS but to the title game. Starting at #15 That looked pretty good after the OU upset, but little did we know that BYU would later get blown out by a very average Florida St team and that the #3 OU team they beat was the worst OU team since the John Blake era..... Then BYU gets blown out for the second time at home last week.

So that one didn't work out so well.

Thought that if Boise St got past Oregon they would coast to 12-0. That was pretty much the board consensus, though. Now I'm thinking Idaho might get them, who may be the best team no one knows about today.....

I am surprised Michigan has done as well as they have.

Good calls.

Good call. Acknowledging that you were correct is nothing compared to the Tennessee game.

really? I don't know about that...this is a very strong Oklahoma team IMO...they've lost to Texas, Miami, and BYU by a combined 5 points...not too shabby

All this while dealing with a working O-Line and an injured Heisman winning QB

Well, you should take credit for when you're right. You're wildly off on so many of your other statements, there's nothing wrong with patting yourself on the back for getting something correct.

Georgia will be MUCH better next season....

Kind words. We'll be breaking in a new starting quarterback again. The two freshman (alleged) super-studs will be red-shirted this year. Logan Grey will be a redshirt junior whose had a few snaps this year, but not much to speak of. We do have young crazy talent all over the place, though. I'm thinking 2011.

Yea, that's what the prognosticators were saying the other day. 2011 is the year they may challenge for the BCS.....Same guys I was echoing about this season's predictions earlier this year.

You were correct about Michigan in the Big Ten. They have not solved their turnover problems from last year nor are they preventing big plays on defense. Their offensive line is getting pushed around as well, which is creating a lot of negative offensive plays and turnovers.

At least it looks like the team is bowl-bound and either winning at home versus Ohio State or in their bowl game would be a nice way to end the season and look ahead toward next season. There will be some playmakers gone from this year's team and no one is sure who will step up next year and make plays.
