I was listening to Colin Cowherd, and he was talking about Miami's first 4 games, and if the Hurricanes "are back"...check out their first 4 games
@ Florida State
Georgia Tech
@ Virginia Tech
Oklahoma
sorry, but I see 0-4
It will be another long year for the Canes

add in that they have lost the 2nd and 3rd string QB to transfers, if jacory harris goes down (and FSU is the first game...) they're in HUGE trouble.

I don't know. They did beat VT last year. They do have talent. They just have to have some coaching stability and control. They certainly aren't the Miami of old, but it's not like they are Duke or Uva.

Hm. The phrase "damning with faint praise" comes to mind.

You'd think the ACC could use some judgement in scheduling the order of conference games. They see an early game against Oklahoma, and they schedule 3 of the top teams in the conference around it. That's harsh.

I'm pretty sure that, for us, the SEC schedule is set before any non-conference games are scheduled to fill any gaps. I have no idea how it works for the ACC, but if it's the same, then it's on Miami for placing Oklahoma where it did.
As a Georgia fan, I can't criticize, though, since out of the box we get @ Olahoma State, vs. South Carolina, @ Arkansas, vs. Arizona State, vs. LSU. Then we finally get a breather by travelling to Knoxville and Nashville. Oy.
