We have fun with the 'my conference is better than yours' stuff for CF, but when it comes to baseball.....whew !

Yes, the PAC 10 definitely owns the college baseball world. Also, if I am not mistaken, the ACC has actually never won a CWS. All of their titles come from teams who won the CWS prior to joining the ACC.

The ACC has won a baseball title with a league team. Of course, it's been a while. If I remember correctly, it's Wake Forest and in the 60's.
And congrats to Oregon State on winning back to back national titles. The Beavers played a great series and title series too. They had good hitting, fielding and pitching. They seemed unstoppable.
And even though they didn't win, the Tar Heels had a great year. I would have love to have had them win, but runner up 2 years in a row ain't bad. Hopefully next year every thing comes together and they win.
And a nice fun fact, the NCAA's champions in the "big 3" sports, at the highest level contested, are back to back champions.
Baseball: Oregon State
Basketball: Florida
Football: Appalachian State

Wake Forest won the national championship back in 1955.....the only current ACC team to do so while actual member of the league.

...and multiple individual baseball championships :
Southern Cal - 12
Texas - 6
Ariz St. -5
LSU - 5
Fullerton St.- 4
Miami - 4
Oklahoma - 3
Minnesota - 3
Arizona -3
California -2
Oregon St. -2
Stanford - 2
Michigan - 2
Also....you can win baseball championships with intelligent kids ( because it truly is a 'thinking man's game'). 7 D1 NCAA baseball titles have come from among Rice, Stanford, Wake Forest, Cal and Holy Cross. What would be the chances of winning a mythical CF championship with a roster full of intelligent kids ?

I'll take a team composed of a bunch of hispanic kids from the Dominican Republic that never finished high school and are college aged and I'll beat Oregon State. I'll even get Rickey Henderson and Mickey Rivers to co-coach them. haha
