Suppose college football adopted my ranking system. What objections or concerns would you have? What negative impact do you imagine it would have on the sport? What worst case scenarios do you imagine? This thread isn't an attempt to start a debate. I just want to compile a list of problems others see with respect to my ranking system which I failed to do in the past. Be as brief or as detailed as you wish. The rules are listed below.
Teams are ranked most to least:
1-Power Points (Games Won Opponents' Wins - Games Lost Opponents' Losses)
2-Net Wins (Wins - Losses)
3-Schedule Strength (Opponents' Power Points)
4-Net Points (Points For - Points Against)

Broken Record???
Are you just a bot that keeps starting the same thread over and over?

I would put less significance on Margin of Victory than that. Florida won how many games by a large margin last year? Ohio State had tons of blowouts, Florida had very few. Florida's SOS (based off of opponents wins vs losses) was at the top, Ohio State's not far behind.
I was messing with the numbers some time ago for last year, every system that I came up with had Ohio State and Louisville at the top (thanks to margin of victory in most cases)

Hey, do you think Michigan should get a rematch with Ohio State? That said, I fully admit this is a favorite topic of mine, but how do you figure I start the same thread over and over? Most of the time I just posted the standings based on my system and responded to criticisms or I argued in favor of objective rules in general. Here, I have just posted the rules and asked people to offer their arguments against so that I may compile a list for own my purposes. I didn't start this thread to debate my system. BTW, should Michigan get a rematch with Ohio State?

FWIW, the tiebreaker net points (not exactly MOV) is rarely used. Therefore, it is virtually insignificant.

I may have to compute this at some point, I've already got half that done... Based off of last year's numbers and see who would be #1 and #2.
