Very good stats. There may not be many responses to your post so far because these stats paint Duke in a memorable picture. The anti- will point out that 10 #1 seeds have led to only nat'l titles without pointing out how their team could not have done the same Duke leads in both of those categories during the 'modern' era. I'm also surprised Michigan is that well represented being that they have been absent from the Big Dance for almost 10 years now. Maybe bending the rules has lasting perks :)

the school that surprised me the most was xavier with 16 tournament appearances in 23 seasons. i know historically they're a really good basketball program, but getting done at that level, with limited resources, over 2+ decades is down right amazing.
