I "believe" this season will be the first season where a non-BCS conference has more guaranteed bowl slots than a BCS conference with CUSA moving up to six guaranteed slots and the Big East dropping to five. Of course, percentage-wise, the Big East is sill ahead.
SEC/ACC/B-12 - all have 8 slots for 12 teams: 67%
Big Ten - 7 slots for 11 teams: 64%
Pac 10 - 6 slots for 10 teams: 60%
Big East - 5 slots for 9 (counting ND) teams: 56%
CUSA - 6 slots for 12 teams: 50%
MWC - 4 slots for 9 teams: 44%
WAC - 3 slots for 9 teams: 33%
MAC - 3 slots for 13 teams: 23%
Sun Belt - 1 slot for 8 (not counting WKU) teams: 13%
Overall - 64 slots for 119 teams (not counting WKU): 54%
