I will only watch games invovling SEC teams, as the other games are meaningless.
The SEC 4-peats next year, rendering every non-SEC game meaningless as defined by the current system.

Congrats on your 12-11 winning record vs other BCS leagues this season and 103-99 BCS era record vs same...not bad at all.

Those 99 losses were also meaningless to some SEC fans.

I know. Aufan59 explained that to us. When SEC teams win it's because they tried to. When SEC teams lose it means they were bored with their opponents and didn't try to win. Makes senses to me.

don't forget..they lose for other reasons. When an Arkansas team that got throttled by USC 45-0 beats a top SEC team, well the SEC is too tough from top to bottom.

Exactly, they are "just beating each other up"

The SEC has won 3 of the last 3 MNC games, and it doesn't look like it is stopping. I don't really get into the conferences arguments much, and couldn't care less if the SEC does well, I just simply relay the facts.

No , Florida and LSU won the last three of those BCS Invitationals. Individual teams win those games, not conferences.

Because they were part of the SEC.
If they played any other conference schedule they wouldn't be as prepared as they were for the big game.
And the SEC has the biggest advantage in these bowl games because they tackle and play defense, thus injuries happen. With the most injuries per team per season due to the physical nature of the SEC, they benefit the most from a month off.

I don't buy it, AUfan. If playing a rugged SEC schedule prepared teams for OOC competition, Vandy wouldn't have lost to Duke. Ole Miss wouldn't have lost to Wake Forest. SEC teams wouldn't lose 49% of their OOC games vs BCS peers. Nothing to do with physicalness. Those were great teams, that's all. Low, Low, academic standards resulting in lots of ultra speedy athletes combined with great coaching is why those individual teams won those BCS things. If your 'tackling/defense/phisical perceptions' had any validity, Alabama wouldn't have been dominated by Utah.
You put those 3 teams in the SunBelt and they would still likely win those BCS events...and it wouldn't prove any superiority of the SBC.

It is why Vandy loses to Duke at the beginning, and beats BC at the end. These SEC teams become a force to be reckoned with after playing a brutal SEC schedule with time to heal afterwards.

Winning the past 3 bcs titles is indeed impressive. However, is there something that the SEC schools require or don't require of their athletes that allows them to gain more during the season than athletes from other schools. If it's conference competition, then why do these teams lose non-conference games so regularly and why did the so-described weak Pac-10 finish the bowl season as the nation's best conference this year.

Yeah and that explains why Alabama lost to Utah, South Carolina lost bad to Iowa, UGA lost to GT at the end of the season AFTER a week off (that GT didn't get the week before the game), etc.
Yeah, not buying it. NEXT?

You are implying that there are more injuries in SEC football. Do you have any factual data that clearly indicates that there are more injuries in the SEC than in the Ivy League...or any DIII conference ?
I guess Alabama didn't quite heal up very well.

More QBs got injured in the SEC than got touched in the Big 12.
Google it.
And suspensions don't heal. Stupid behavior is the price to pay for dumb good players I guess.

I too won't be watching any meaningless games but to say any game outside the SEC is meaningless is just a bit arrogant. I'm an SEC guy but there are plenty of great teams in other conferences.
