case in point,Paul Johnson(ex-Navy coach)now with Georgia Tech
they are 8-3(7-6 in 07) and returned the FEWEST starters in the ACC) 9 total,kudos to him.

..when asked if he could win with his old school option offense in the acc like he had at navy, he said, "you know we played well agaisnt bc, maryland, duke, etc.. you think i might have better ahtletes against those same teams at gatech than i had at navy?"....great sarcasm from a guy who will continue to have 8-4 or better seasons into perpetuity. no one did stop navy's running attack under johnson. and they played a much tougher schedule than they had to. and btw- the navy comeback against notre dame in the pouring rain was incredible... they were d.o.a. down 27-7 with ND first and goal inside their 10 with 6 minutes to go. The Mids the came so close to pulling off a miracle last saturday....

they came real close with two onside kick recoveries in a row. Charlie was in a panic, he looked like he was going to keel over.
