...can anyone else recall an 0-10 team going in plus 7 vs any in-conference foe?...granted, wash st is giving up 51 ppg vs 1-a competition...maybe it happened when indiana back in the 1970's hosted northwestern....

I think two reasons might be in play here for the Huskies' being favored. One, the Courgars have so offense whatsoever. Been shut out in three of their last four and went without a TD in five thus far. Even hapless Arizona State got them 31-0, Stanford 58-0, UCLA 28-3. They most impressive offenseive showing was vs. Arizona where they lost 59-28. Secondly, this is Ty Willingham's last Apple Bowl. The Wazzu coach is a rookie and will probably be HC for a couple of more years before embarrassment forces them to shoot him.

Finally, UW has some offense.
