Slams the BCS again and demands a playoff. We now not only have Congress bashing the BCS but the new executive. At some point these piss-ant, clueless academians, who basically live life in a bubble anyway, are going to have to come to terms with the fact that over 90% of the bill paying customer base, virtually ALL the coaches, want a playoff.
The fact that in the light of a historic economic crisis and two Wars the President-elect STILL puts a college football playoff at the top of his social agenda..... We'll see how long the d!ckless Presidents and conference commissioner puppets can continue to resist even our cult-hero President-elect....

... that this president-elect even has an opinion on this. He can't comment on the G-20 or Russian and Iran's sabre rattling but has an opinion that an interviewer deems worthy to inquire about concerning a college football solution to the BCS. Will he exercise an executive action to make this happen? He is going to bail out GM (most of its problems lie with GMAC in my opinion) and others. The unions are not going to compromise because they know the prez is in their corner. I'm already sick of all this bullshit. The MTV/video game personality cult-worshippers put him in office. Geez! They'd probably would have elected Borat if he ran!

Obama won't even be in office for 63 days and already you spew your'e venom toward him.He simply gave an opinion on a playoff system in cf which most cf fans concur with. Why is it you obtuse conservative republican a$$ holes are so quick to judge him?
With the country in the worst shape since the great depression should not all americans get behind him and work together for the common good?put ya damn politics where the sun don't shine. It took 8 freakin years of this 'devil incarnate'SOB to reach this pathetic situation we are facing. As far as the bailout of the auto industry it is a 'no brainer'the effect of them going under would a disaster for our country and deepen what is already a travesty.

Please elaborate on why it is a no brainer.
Casinos directly employ more folks than the automakers.
The government should let the Big Three fail not because we no longer need an auto industry, but because we desperately do. What we do not need is the bloated, inefficient auto industry that we have today. By allowing the Big Three to fail, their capacity will be turned over to new owners who will be able to acquire the means of production at fire sale prices and hire workers at globally competitive wages. The result will be a more efficient auto industry making cars that people around the world actually want to buy at prices they can afford.

I doubt that Obama has a college football playoff at the top of his agenda. (What the hell, congress has spent the last couple years trying to get steroids out of baseball, that's a good use of their time.) I just think Obama is a big sports fan and he's simply saying what most college football fans would say - we need a playoff. No need to make a mountain out of a mole hill!

Now there's an effective debating strategy, Duck.
Where ever did you learn the techniques of stereotyping, politicizing and ethnic bigotry?

The MTV/video game personality cult-worshipers that voted are the new decision makers so get used to it. BTW, those video game skills are coming in handy in the middle east where the "gamers" are fighting our war for US. Can you please back it off a little and give B Hussein Obama a chance? This divisiveness is a large part of the problem these days. Nobody is going to agree 100% with everybody, there needs to be compromise on both sides. Being dismayed because our Prez elect has an opinion on college football, something that you also enjoy, shows me that you are not ready to be part of the solution.

I know you are in the financial market. Do you believe we should have bailed out the financial institutions? Seem like an issue both conservatives and liberals felt was necessary.
Seems to me if we bail out financial industry and the farming industry, how are we in any position to say "no" to the auto industry. A bit of a Pandora's box perhaps.

This sums up a lot: http://www.breitbart.tv/html/223033.html
Obama is our first "American Idol President". The Obama cult members who turned out in the millions to vote for their savior knew nothing other than he looks cool, sounds cool and acts cool. They were groomed for 6 years by voting on American Idol for the coolest person who sounded best. They took that American Idol voting style to the political polls and voted for the guy they knew NOTHING about except he looks, sounds and acts cool.
Lets hope this American Idol President doesn't go the route of Ruben Studdard's career after he won American Idol.

America has always wanted to follow a winner especially when they began as the underdog.
Obama is brilliant and we should give him time to see if he can apply his intelligence for the country's benefit. Something tells me that some Americans are already blaming Obama for the nation's economic woes.
Barney Frank and Obama were in power positions until well after bad loans were being issued. Borrow and spend became Reagan's mantra the policy was successful for one generation until it failed. McCain was a proud member of the Keating 5 and knows a little about deregulation.
The main reason why the auto industry is not being rescued while the banking and insurance companies were can be found on the donor rolls of the party convention committees. AIG was the largest elephant while the auto companies were the strongest donkeys.
As the banks are not opening up credit lines, the solution for all industries is to drastically reduce their sales prices. Reducing the costs of living, doing business, health care, education and housing must drop by 30 to 50% for us to achieve a sustainable economy.
I doubt that Obama has a college football playoff at the top of his agenda. Steroids and baseball - couple of years - sound liek the dems were in control. And as to making mountains ... what about termites? I'm more surprised "60 Minutes" would toss out a useless question like that. I guess it makes for less tim to ask him some serious questions. Hell, the repub's never got such softballs thrown their way by such legit "mountains of journalism" like 60 Minutes.
I know you are in the financial market. Do you believe we should have bailed out the financial institutions? Seem like an issue both conservatives and liberals felt was necessary.
Seems to me if we bail out financial industry and the farming industry, how are we in any position to say "no" to the auto industry. A bit of a Pandora's box perhaps.
... totally correct on this but those financial institutions are using some of the "Borg Bucks" to pay bonuses to head honchos, acquire more lenders who are actually more solvent thus forging a more "we're can't be allowed to fail" position. They're not doing much when it comes to helping out those who were lent the monies getting under control as was the original intent.
As to the auto-makers, some congressman from Michigan yesterday on Neil Cavuto's FOX program, said they need the cash to stay "alive". Cavuto mentioned that it seems evident they'd then need a "transfusion" (my word) once again and the congressman didn't disagree. Cavuto spoke of "taxpayer" money and the "elected one" said it wasn't the taxpayer's money. WTF !!!
Now Obama is going to be left with $410 billion from this initial fleecing (or perhaps more correctly identified as "aggravated rape") of the American public. He can bail out his $100K+ Union auto-workers while at the same time telling the CEO's and executives what theri caps will be. I'd really like to know who ever authorized GM to get into the mortgage business? GMAC must be "suffering" now. As a lender don't they qualify as basically a Wall Street "clone"? And if the dems are so sure of themselves then they need to put an IV into my wallet so they can help "pay off" those union workers who voted in large numbers for the new, fascist state.
BTW, how do you feel about no secret ballots for approving/disapproving union's into the workplace. Also known as "Card Check". At the same time, the congress is appointing its new leaders via "secret balloting" - something they'll wish to decline the rest of the American people who are actually paying for all of these goodies.

I think they will eventually bail them out, but probably not until AFTER they hit chapter 11. They pretty much let the airlines enter chp 11 and only then helped them avoid 7. Letting the big 3 enter chapter 11 null and voids all the union contracts and allows a complete restructuring. It also cans the management. But it still keeps them afloat and the company alive, it just undergoes a reorganization and restructuring of debt. That's really what they want, the mgt gone and the union contracts gone. But they don't want them to completely die. Chapter 11 does just that and then they step in to prevent a full Chapter 7, which is basically a disolving of the company and sale of it's remaining assets.
