Assuming Texas Tech loses, this is the ideal BCS National Championship game.

Florida will beat Alabama in the SECCG. Florida rises to #1, Alabama falls to #2.
They rematch a month later in the National Championship game.

The winner of the SECCG is going to dominate whoever they play resulting in a blowout BCS Title game yet again. The only way we get a good BCS Title game is if Florida and Alabama play twice.

I am assuming that you are kidding but I am excited to experience what it would feel like to play a semi-final playoff game. If Bama beats Auburn and Florida beats FSU, the winner of this game will move on to the BCS Championship Game, while the loser is done with no SEC or BCS Title hopes which gives it a semi-final playoff game feel. Would love to see a 4-team BCS Playoff sometime in the future.

Vegas odds makers have all three Big 12 teams double digit favorites over Alabama. Most think Florida is the better team. 'Bama loses the SEC title game they will probably fall to 5 or 6 in the BCS.... One of the three Big 12 teams is a lock for one of the spots. They may get both slots, depending on what happens.

Brought to you, folks, by the same SEC fantasylander who guaranteed us that Auburn would bury West Virginia by at least two touchdowns.

If Bama , indeed, makes the BCS make-believe National champ game and happens to face Texas it will be trying to beat the Longhorns for the first time in ...what ? ...nine tries ? Oh yeah, Florida is 1-4 vs B12 teams in bowls.

As much as I'd love to see 2 SEC teams in it......I'd be a hypocrite to want it. I've always said no non-conference champ should be in it, SEC teams included. In 06, when Michigan almost jumped UF, I cried foul.

The loser of Bama vs UF CANNOT be in the NC game. As it stands, SEC champ vs Big 12 champ, barring any unforseen upsets.

Hen, if OU beats TX Tech, who wins Big 12 South? Is the 3 way tie broken by BCS standing, and if so, who do you think gets it? If OU handles Texas Tech by 14 or more, I think that swings them in the polls and they win the South.

Either way, I think Florida would have a better shot than Bama at beating any of the 3 Big 12 South schools. Bama, as good as they are, just don't seem to have an offense that could hang in a shootout with those teams. Florida has an offense that is arguably playing the best of anyone right now, and a frighteningly fast defense.

Florida vs Texas Tech would be a damn fun game to watch!

I'm really disappointed in the B12 choosing the BCS 'ranking' to decide its divisional tiebreakers.
