Look at the rankings of the pass defenses he has faced:

Fla Atlantic #46
Arky #69
Colorado #72
Oklahoma #90
Texas Tech #96
Baylor #102
Mizzou #105
UTEP #106
Ok State #110
Rice #113
Kansas #116

Of course he is completing 80% of passes. The Pass D in the Big 12 is the worst I've ever seen in college football.

Can you post where each team was ranked in pass defense before they played Texas?

whos playing better than McCoy? are the bad pass ratings for the defenses really relevant? Is it because they truly are bad, or because they're facing pretty good QBs every week?

To get him the hell out of Austin. Prop his ass up - adios poney-boy. Let him join the other running QBs who are actually marginalized in the NFL (case in point, Vince Young at Tennessee).

Oklahoma, now 1-3 vs. Texas the last 4 years

Hey, remember when Mack Brown was an idiot?

But Texas is sexy in the eyes of the beholders (Heisman committee). He is also almost a one-man show in Austin. Tebow, even with his strong supporting cast, is also regarded as the stud in the south. Being a Heisman recipient I'd not be surprised to see him voting for himself. I actually don't have a problem with that as he has proven his invaluability to the Gator progarm.

in college football? If they held a draft of all the college football players and you had first pick, would you pick him? Would he be the first QB selected? I think the answer to all these questions is 'NO'! Unbelieveable.

...look at Texas tech's harrells stats for total of 3 years. he is going to throw for 16,000 yards when he is done in early jan. with a total 70%- plus completion pct. sure its "the system", but ya think any qb who succeeds like this isnt an integral part of this system? if tech can somehow beat oklahoma sat- and then get to 12-0, give the cocky qb from lubbock the prize...mccoy has the UT panache, but harrell beat him in their duel and had the winning td drive against #1 UT when everything was on the line...if he goes 26-50 with 3 ints sat. night, its another story. but harrell is the man right now...dont down him or penalize him for being the right qb in leach's point machine...he has remarkable poise, top level qb I.Q., excellent mobility and throws beautifully on the run and is daring but makes very few poor decisions or throws.
