Someone actually believes this:

Am I alone in feeling that strenght of schedule should be factored in for BCS as was before? It seems to me that smaller collages I.E. BYU or Utal have an advantage due to weaker schedules over a team like OU or USC... Not that USC has a crushing schedule, anyway.

huh?

Nine conference games plus @Virginia, Ohio State, and Notre Dame. That's 12 games out of 12 against BCS competition.

MWC is 6-1 vs. the PAC 10 this year

Washington and Washington State are playing IAA football this year...just saying they are "BCS" is misleading

USC's non-conference schedule is always good though...

Just to be clear, I think it is amusing that someone actually believes that nonBCS schedules give those teams any advantage.

depends on what the goals and criteria are...

If the goal is to reach a BCS bowl, how could you not say that Boise State has an easier road, even without an autobid? And I believe thats what the original poster is trying to say...theres no doubt a WAC slate is easier than a Big XII slate

On the other hand, you are trying to point out the obvious flaws in the hierarchy of college football because of the BCS system...of course a WAC schedule won't get you high enough rankings to compete for a National Championship
