Ok, time for bold a prediction by me.

1.) Ball State finishes 3rd in the MAC West.

They play Central then Western Michigan. I think Central, again, is the class of the MAC. Ball State does have a a long week to prepare, but still.

only choice is to go with Lacy-Taylor fight and replay of Joe Calzaghe battering has-been Roy Jones into retirement on hbo sat. night with kentucky-vandy on second tv battling for a host slot in that music city bowl in nashville......

I'm not so sure....South Carolina has the #1 defense in the SEC, #3 in the country I believe...#1 SEC offense against #1 SEC defense. Should be interesting. And Spurrier will be rotating QB's on offense like he used to once in a while in Gainesville. I won't be attending this one in person, but I'll be enjoying it with Gary and Verne on CBS HD!

s.carolinas new qb garcia was impressive live..throws a nice ball...but s.c. beat kentucky and its lame offense ONLY because of UK special teams blunders ( e.g. blocked fg for a s.c. td). of course, fla. handed UK their heads and was jsut vastly more athletic..look for s. carolina to play adeqaute d...until the seocnd qtr when the roof caves in....maybe a little visor throwqingby spurrier will add to the entertainment,.,florida-37- the other usc 14....
