worst of any prez. in recent memory
I come here to talk College Football, and dont want to get into politics....as I am not really going to get into whether I am Rep. or Dem.
BUT...just because you cant remember anyone being any worse in a poll....doesnt mean that it is a fact.

his shortcomings aside, it really should tell you the power the media has on shaping public opinion. We have a roaring/robust economy. So far so good on protecting the nation from another serious attack. Yet...he's below 30% Not saying he should be above even 50% but....below 30???? C'mon.
Iraq's quicksand is obviously killing his approval numbers .
It's all moot anyway. Lame duck prez in office.

Harry Truman was universally despised and considered to be a failed president when he left office. Yet, Truman is now to be considered to be among the best presidents of the 20th century. Truman and Bush have one thing in common: being true to their core beliefs, current public approval be damned and let history be the ultimate judge.
I am less impressed by a president with high approval ratings who sticks his finger in the air to gauge public attitudes before making decisions. Bush might be more popular in the short run if he followed Harry Reid's advice and surrendered to the radical Islamic terrorists.
