About as predicted although I think Palm had Utah #9 in prediction, not #11. 11, 12, and 14 all nonBCS teams. Tulsa getting some respect at #19. Likewise Ball St at #20. The derby for the nonBCS autobid is going to be as interesting as the race for #2.

It confuses me why Missouri is still ranked so high...the term "paper tiger" fits Missouri perfectly
And Ball State is better than Florida State....right...

Let's say Texas wins out and wins the Big 12 Championship. Obviously they're in at #1.
Then let's say Penn State and Alabama both lose.
Then you have Oklahoma who can't play in the Big 12 Championship but somehow they end up at #2 in the BCS.
Wouldn't it be ridiculous to see OU-Texas for the National Championship?!?!
The BCS still works out though where the #2 no matter what goes to the title game even if they don't win their conference right?

If Texas only loses once and no other team in the South has just one loss then Texas wins the South.
However, if there is a 3 way tie for the Big 12 South, the highest ranked BCS team gets to go to the Big 12 Championship game.
Lots of very interesting scenarious about to be played out in the Big 12.
I think Texas losing once hurts OU's chances at a National Title.
They need to lose 2 times or not at all.

So let me ask this to fans in other conferences, would you be opposed to an OU Texas National Championship game?
Texas fans are already actively lobbying aganist playing OU again.

What National Championship ?
In your scenario, Texas `would be the B12 AQ and Oklahoma a worthy 'at large' qualifier to advance to a national championship if we had a national championship. In that case it wouldn't be ridiculous at all if both teams ran the playoff field. I know this all off track but...just a little protest.

Of course....
but you could end up having the same thing in a playoff with at-large bids.

In real championship team sports rematches are very common and very dramatic so it sure wouldn't bother me. However, a Tex/OU NC rematch would have much more integrity than a Tex/OU MNC rematch.

Don't forget the 'M', Billy , when referencing this event.

It would depend on what the circumstances are...A champ from another conference should get preference IMO
Texas could also have a rematch vs. Texas Tech or Okie State
I'd be against a rematch unless there were absolutely no other contenders...
