Alabama’s opponents records (5 teams) less their losses to Alabama are: 13-5 with wins over then ranked Clemson and Georgia. Note: Both marquis wins on the road.
Oklahoma’s opponents records (4 teams) less their losses to Oklahoma are: 8-6 with marquis wins over Cincinnati and TCU. Note: Both marquis wins at home.

Clearly Alabama has played the more robust schedule thus far and in its two marquis wins basically crushed their opponents. OU as well but Alabama clearly holds the edge when discussing opposition. As far as ranked opponents according to today’s polls, OU still has to play: Texas in Dallas, Texas Tech at home, Kansas at home and Oklahoma State in Stillwater Alabama has yet to play at LSU and then at home against Auburn The Crimson Tide also have heated rivalries at Tennessee and at home vs. Mississippi. The Sooners host Nebraska.

Alabama has 3 blow out road victories in the first month of the season. That is quite impressive! Bama's schedule gets harder now as they get in SEC West play, which is much tougher than the SEC East.

Oklahoma looks nasty. The offense scores so quickly, and makes it all look so easy. Cannot wait for the RRS in two weeks. If LSU wasn't playing UF that week, I'd be at the Cotton Bowl for the game.

Odds are, neither will be in the MNC game....

As af right now, I can't think of any pairing that would yield a robability over 50% that at least one of the pair would make the MNC game....

I'm starting to think that JoePa might go out with a shot at the BCS championship. Everybody in the Big Ten seems beatable, especially if they have to travel to Happy Valley.

I don't know if you watched the PSU-Illinois game, but Musberger took time out to talk about how Jay Paterno, QB coach should be a major head coaching candidate?

What?

Jay Pa is the same guy who wasted a bunch of talent by starting Zach Mills for 4 years and Anthony Morelli for 2. Their defense has always been pretty good, as well as the other offensive skill players. It took him too long to start Michael Robinson and too long to start Daryll Clark.

They have a tough stretch. At Purdue and at Wisconsin.

They travel to Columbus on Oct 25th. Since they joined the Big Ten they haven't won at the Shoe. If OSU wins out untill then, it should be 2 top 10 games.

Ohio State gets a top 10 team at home. WOOT!

It is no secret that Brent Mushmouth is a joke of a broadcaster who makes at least 2-3 WTF? statements like that per game.
