Not sure if folks realize, but we do archive everything at NationalChamps.net. You can go back and peruse previews going back to 2000, the year we got started.
Anyway, NationalChamps.net is getting some pub on the front pages of some of the university official sites. One of them is TCU. I got a nice email from their SID Mark Cohen concerning our preview. I sent him back an email telling him how we got started in our first year concerning TCU, the team we rolled the dice with on in our 2000 preview with LaDanian Tomlinson being a senior that year. Thought it was interesting. Here is the email. Check out our 2000 previews for a good laugh and to see how far we came. (link at bottom)

Thank you so much for the pub. If there is anything I have learned
personally while covering college football this millennium...TCU, death and
taxes are inevitable. hehe.
I will never forget the first year our site opened (2000). We pushed TCU as our big preseason sleeper team under second year coach Dennis Franchione. Of course that was LT's senior year as well. I remember catching so much flack for rolling the dice and placing TCU as our #14 team. In the seven years since then, as you well know, the Frogs have put together 10+ win seasons in 5 out of 7 years. That, to me, was the year that started the roll. I got to see them play in Annapolis from the sidelines versus Navy as a member of the media back then and will never forget. I knew then, this is what I wanted to do. NationalChamps.net archives everything and it was great to go back to our 2000 preview and see the old depth chart and how far we came as a website. If you are interested, here it was/is:
