Former Piston Thug Mahorn assaults WNBA superstar

..i know its the dry season when anyone is talking about womens pro hoops, but last night was doing a little channel surfing and watching last few minutes of a very controversial game between l.a. and detorit.. detroit coach bill laimbeer was about to have a stroke ( not a bad thing in this case ) after 2 unbeleivably bad calls very late in a close game the refs gave the l.a. team.... with 4 seconds to go, amidst a pile up on the floor over a loose ball, the first- ever fight i have seen in womens hoops on the pro, college or high school level broke out..some slapping, shoving and tripping..and then , resorting to his former trademark thug ways with the thuggish detoit piston bad boys, 6-10, 300 lb. rick mahorn (detroit asst. coach) runs on the court and shoves 6-4, 175 lb. or so lisa leslie, knocking her to the floor as she stood there an innocent bystander to the ongoing fight...mahorn of course is the same clown who as an announcer, jumped into t he crowd during the berserk ron artest riot in detroit a few years back...the idea of a 300 lb. monster shoving any women to the ground speaks for itself...but he picked out one of the wnba's superstars...we'll see how the league covers this one up...mahorn probably got a phone call this morning from former teammate and misogynistic thug isaiah thomas congratulating him for his assault and fiedlity to the old pistons tradition...

Are you kidding? That was nothing. Mahorn wasn't trying to push her down.

...someone with the coordination of a world class professionnal athlete leaning forwards suddenly goes sprawling on her ass becuase he has what--- breathed on her? scowled at her? yelled at her?.. get real---look at the tape....look at the still photo- his wrists are twisted outward in the manner of an undeniable shoving/pushing motion... just at the split second she topples backwards...a 300-plus lb. man shoves a woman to the floor...the thug comes through...

I didn't see it that way at all. It looks like he put his arm out to keep her from joining the melee and it knocked her of balance when she ran into it. He may have push her to keep her back but certainly not to knocked her down. How far she fell looks due to her attempt to keep her footing. Mahorn even extended his hand after she fell before being clocked in the back of the head. I haven't heard a single talking head agree with your view of the incident. This is much ado about nothing.
