Well guys, thought I'd give a quick thought on my first few weeks at Clemson. Beautiful campus. Great people. Lake Hartwell is a fishermans dream. Anyone who likes to fish should pay a visit. I've already noticed the anti-Bowden sentiment in the air though. These fans may have the most unrealistic expectations of any place in college football. They expect a National Championship run every year. Danny Ford = Jesus. I've learned that!

Tell me more about Lake Hartwell. I fish all the time.
Danny Ford = Jesus is very disturbing. Ford was pure sleaze....in the Tarkanian class.

I wouldn't go that far...He's not at the pinnacle of cheating like Lou Holtz, or Tark..although he had great teachers in Pell and Bear :-) ...
After the probation in the early 80s, Clemson had cleaned up its act. As evidenced by the NCAA Investigation conducted in late 1988 and 1989, where the NCAA found a solid compliance system in place and noted that there was no LOIC, as was found before.

Hen, I'll tell you more about the lake after it warms up some! My grandfather went there a lot to fish. Beautiful place if you get a chance to go.

Hartwell was damned near dry when I lived there.....

Was that in the mid 90's? I remember a few years of drought really hurt the lake.

Late 1980's. I had a house on the 14th hole at the Spartanburg Country Club....

SCC......was that near Camp Croft? I haven't been to Sparkle City in a while. Had some friends living near Camp Croft.
I'm sure you enjoyed the fine cuisine of The Beacon and Sugar and Spice?

Any Crappie spawning in that lake yet? The last couple of weekends, I've pulled in a few 14's and 15's at Lake Granger which is about 20 miles northeast of Austin...

I heard this one: A Clemson Tiger, a South Carolina Gamecock and a box of Cheerios are sitting at a table. Which one is out of place? The Gamecock, because the Cheerios and Tiger will both make it into a bowl.

Here's one. The reason OBAMA won in Alabama is because there was a typo on the ballot. They accidently printed a "G" in front and it appeared to the locals as "GOBAMA".

Ha ha. Thats funny. I must say America has come a long way when a black man can win a primary in Alabama.
