- 46% of the non conference games are vs 1AA & Sun Belt opponents
- On average, the SEC teams play 1.08 BCS opponents ( 2 SEC teams play zero BCS opponents)
- Tenn & LSU are the only SEC teams NOT playing 1AA teams
-The SEC is playing 40 'home' non conference games and only 8 'away' (that's 83% home)
- 5 of the 12 SEC teams play no OOC 'away' games at all.
- MSU is the only SEC team to play 2 OOC away games
..........corrections welcomed

Six years ago, the Big Ten played a pretty decent schedule, this year it's rather sucky. Of course the Big Ten was also "down" big time back then and miraculously recovered when their schedules started getting easier.

good stuff
If teams were dropped in polls every time they played and beat a lower division team, maybe that might inspire a different scheduling ideology. What do you think ?
In reality, everybody wants 7-8 home games....that's root of the problem, I guess.

There's a lot I don't like about the money situation in college football, but it's reality we have to deal with. Interdivsion games are here to stay, I just wish we'd get a few more big-time games.
