for a paper on some mental issue. It amazes me the kinds of arguments I read from fans to justify their team ahead of another. I have discovered a USC fan that thinks all losses to "unranked" teams are equal. Therefore, a loss to 8-4 Arkansas is as bad as a loss to 3-9 Stanford. The same fan thinks LSU should have dropped 15 places like USC did after their loss to Stanford. Never mind that USC's loss is arguably worse despite this fan's contention that all losses to teams below the "magical" 25th spot are equal, he ignores the fact that USC's loss came at a time when at least 15 teams owned an equal or better record than USC after the Stanford game while the same number did not own an equal or better record than LSU following the Arkansas game. Oh well, at least college football has the most meaningful regular season in sports.:rolleyes:
