Navy beat Pitt, who beat Cincy, who beat USF, who beat Auburn, who beat Arkansas, who beat #2 LSU.

Northern Iowa beat Iowa State, who beat Iowa, who beat Illinois, who beat #1 Ohio State.

Funny thing is, if Delaware wins the 1-AA playoffs, combined with what you just posted, well, they really are the NCAA Division 1 Football Champions.

The AP can now vote 1-AA teams in their top 25. Maybe just to stick it to the BCS, they should vote the 1-AA winner as their #1.

...a few years back, one of those permutation chains had delaware #1 over usc....don't sell the hens short in 1-aa...but in reality, they are a 5-7 type team playing say central michiagn or kent st's schedule at lower level of 1-a...
