Oden maybe, Conley, probably not.

I think both of them return. Mike Conley Sr is going to be the agent for both of them. Sr stated that Mike was returning as late as 10 days ago. I just think Oden is a bit of a different personality that truly enjoys the college experience. His family isnt hurting for money and there certainly is a lot that is game could benefit by returning.

I can shoot the three better than the Buckeyes. The sad part is there is truth to that statement. 2-21 from the arc with no one really even contesting the shots. What a terrible Championship Game. Much like the football match up.

this had to be the worst ncaa tournament i've ever watched. this crap is all media hype and no substance whatsoever. the supposedly great games of the the 1 vs. 2 and 1 vs. 1 sucked to high heaven. from the elite eight on the avg. margin of victory was over 10 pts. with only one decent game.

it is so funny that we constantly hear about these "big time" programs but then they play one another all of the games stink. most of the best games of the tournament featured mid-majors. xavier vs. osu, vcu vs. duke, vcu vs. pittsburgh, butler vs. maryland, butler vs. uf, souther ill. vs. kansas, etc.

except they hype these big time schools like we're going to see something special when they play. no dice in football and no dice and basketball. it is weird how teams like boise state and george mason give us some of the best games but the media would rather force feed us 30 pt. beat downs between the likes of michigan, ohio state, usc, etc.

about conley, if his dad isn't already and agent (maybe he is i don't know) they'd both be stupid to sign with him. they'd be better off give him 10% and let somebody else that's qualified do their job if they're looking to throw their money away. ask ricky williams how letting master p.'s people do his 1st contract worked out for him.

So last year's final four, which included George Mason, and also featured 3 games decided by an average of 15 points was better?

You are going way overboard.

This year Florida was head and shoulders above any other team, if you think that makes the entire tournament the worst ever, then so be it.

But George Mason certainley didn't make last year's final four entertaining.

i said the whole tournament was the worst ever. yes, last years final four stunk, but this whole tournament pretty much sucked. the last 7 games (4 elite eight, 2 final four, 1 championship game) the avg. margin of defeat was close to 11 pts. these were the games the media kept telling us were going to be the cream of the crop because all the higher seeds advanced. well, they weren't. one decent game. think about it. 5 games of 1 vs. 2's, and one game of a 1 vs. a 1 and the best we can get is an avg. of 10 pts. that's sorry. that's one of the many reasons i feel this is the worst ncaa tournament that i've witness.

Let me go and predict the next year in sports:

Heat beat the Cavs in the Eastern Conference finals.
Marlins beat the Reds in the NLCS and Indians in the World Series.
Dolphins beat the Bengals and Browns in the playoffs.

pretty much how I feel right about now LT. Its been a good run for OSU this year in the two major sports, but an even better one for UF.

Losing two championship games to the same school, plus a regular season basketball matchup for good measure, really sucks!

Look at the bright side. It is a great time to be a Buckeye. Two final fours in eight years, opportunity for a championship in basketball, 1 championship in football and an opportunity for a second, 5-1 vs our main rival, 4-2 in bowls since JT's arrival, a Hiesman winner, and teams that appear to be loaded for the foreseeable future. Enjoy this ride. It won't last forever. At least we're not Meatchicken, the " perrennial NIT power", or any one of a hundred other teams who DIDN'T play for a national championship in any sport. Florida was a bit better and better prepared, but that doesn't negate our own success. Not that we should be satisfied or happy by just 'being there', but losing this game doesn't make us losers. Losing the national championship game is better than not making it there. Chin up! It's a great time to be a Buckeye!

I agree with all that Seven, well, except for the Michigan basketball comment (does a first round exit qualify as a power?) LOL

If this stretch doesn't show how hard it is to be an Ohio Sports fan, what does?

Finishing national runner up in both football and basketball, yet you really don't feel happy at all, because a school has way outdone you. 5 losses in the 2 sports and 0-3 against UF.

Sigh....
