The offensive staff has gotten a complete overhaul
OC - Jimbo Fisher from LSU
Line Coach - Trickett from West Virginia
RB Coach - Dexter Carter, former Nole
WR Coach - Lawrence Dawsey, former Nole
I'm hoping Jimbo likes Xavier Lee...he could be another Jamarcus Russell IMO...
i know that jimbo fisher has been the hot colleges asst. the last few years, but i just don't see what all the hype is about. i agree that hiring anybody with any decent credentials as the oc at fsu would be an upgrade. but if you look over lsu's offensive stats the last couple of years, their o has been pretty anemic against decent (or equal) talent. and that's with a qb that the scouts are saying is the #1 pick in the nfl draft with the best workout they've seen is years.
for example, last season they averaged 41 points per game against the likes of Louisiana-Lafayette, Arizona, Tulane, Miss. State, Fresno St. and Mississippi. going 6-0 in the process. versus Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas and Notre Dame they averaged 27 pts. per game. going 5-2 in the process. the two losses they scored a combined 13 pts. vs. UF (10) and Auburn (3). couple that with the 49 pts. they put up vs. Kentucky and the 41 pts. vs. Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl and the pts. per game go way, way, down.

I wouldn't call Jimbo Fisher a hot awesome OC, but he'll definately bring a consistency that was lacking with Jeff Bowden...so its a major improvement IMO...I wouldn't describe LSU's offense as "anemic" either...Fisher has a National Championship ring, a couple of SEC champ rings, and they've put up points when they've needed too...
we'll see how many points Fisher and the FSU offense put up on BC next year :D
