Will he coach anywhere else? Hope so. He seems to be a good man.
Well, he can't beat Ohio State and certainly can't win a bowl game. His Wolverine teams have basically become also-rans and flirt with mediocrity almost yearly now. Les Miles will get a phone call. He ought to take answer it and take the job because Nick Saban's recruits are now all just about gone in Baton Rouge.

I doubt it, but Indiana would be a good spot for him since they're in need of a winner and have an interim coach.

...this was supposed to be his juggernaut farewell tour...he started by losing to appy st..uggh..all credit due to the Apps...but, 34 points surrendered with higher vaLUed recruits at 22/22 starting positions and two----T-W-Oblocked field goals by app st in the 4th quarter!!!!...how is that for preparing special teams ineptLy int he summer???...then, 32 point Oregon duck onslaught in first half with dixon and belotti toying with lloyds helpless D and UO keeping it at 39 out of respect in an utter blowout..struggling wins over minnesota, illinois , northwestern, psu msu leading to a totally flat, emotionless - as espn announcer described it twice "lifeless" effort vswisconsin...and then todays utter flop from a supposed juggernaut offense ends his tenure and the promise of top 10 season in aug. ends just as it began- in failure...carr is done..he is a bo good ol' boy and thye'll find a cushy 200K job for him in the atheltic dept...so many games lost in the second half with leads by going into a "play not to lose Shell", out of national title contentionby end of sept. ,7ofthe last 8 years..a horrifiic bowl record including that unreal loss to nebraska two years ago, so much underutilized offensive talent, such a cowardy-cautious, boring, preditable archaic offensive gameplan year after year,,,his departure is cause for celebration for michaign fans who knwo football...big celebration.and then there's lloyd's sour, cranky personality to consider...a bad impression of cranky old bo...and a bad impression of a modern football coach...You will not be missed LLLLLoyd....FREE AT LAST!

Since 97, how many times has UM exceeded or even met their preseason expectations? 2006? Any other year?
Say in 97 the BCS existed, and UM played Nebraska and Nebraska won. Would Carr have lasted this long?
How long can you underachieve after a MNC?

Michigan's offense is a joke for the talent the have. I feel bad for the talent to have to be wasted with such terrible offensive minds.

During the game, Herbie was talking about well UM runs the screen pass. I could only imagine Coach 3 screaming at the TV at that point.

Lloyd Carr will most definitely be missed (same for Hart, Henning, Crable, and probably Manningham) ;)

Carr is .667 vs those over hyped SEC teams in bowls and .167 vs everybody else in bowls.
