There is one Ohio State Football fact that desperately needs to be addressed/fixed. JT has got to figure out how to beat the SEC boys in a PSEG.

lost one on a last second FG following a 50 yard interception return with less than 30 seconds left in the game. Yet that proves the SEC is far superior. I know what happened last year. Based on Tressel's overall record at Ohio State and in championship games throughout his career, I believe that was simply a blip on the screen. Let's see how the season plays out before we start to call it a trend.

I love that record of 20 straight BT wins. OSU now holds it all alone. The scary part will be if OSU wins the next 2. That puts the record at 22 straight. Should they start out strong next year, OSU could easily put that record out of reach.

The Iowa game in '04 was really the only one they ever got blown out in. The 'O4 Wisky and '01 Illini games ended up being dble digits, but both were pretty close throughout.

Ironically, after the Iowa/Wisky games, Tressel was "forced" to start Troy Smith. After the Illini game, Craig Krenzel got his first career start.....

Funny thing is the media has been focused on the dominance of USC for the past five years because up until this season, only Nebraska from 1993-97 was better in a five year run in modern times, but over a longer haul, Ohio St has been better, approaching the kind of run Florida St have for 14 consecutive seasons. It's been a while since that last 6-6 season there.

That 32-2 home record run seems impressive until you remember that only a few short years ago Miami had a 58-0 run in the Orange Bowl....

I was bored on a rainy Monday night and decided to see how OSU's schedule compared with the other top teams over the past 3 years. Take it for what it's worth. These are just stats. Obviously winning a NC is much more important. Texas and Florida are two well deserved champions.

I was implying that JT needs to find a way to handle the SEC teams on behalf of the OSU program and its post season history vs those guys.........not JT's personal record.
