Nebraska leads Texas, Texas Tech got nailed, Oregon is slimey duck crap all over USC, Georgia is beating Florida, Connecticut is shutting out USF and Sylvester Crooms has proven he isn't just a temporary token coach in Starkville as his Bulldogs have bitten a chunk out of the second team whose ass was never to be reached according to the media gods prior to this year (Auburn and now Kentucky). I expect MSU will post at least a 6-6 season and make it to the Independence Bowl this year. Damn great year for Crooms. If he manages to go 7-5 he ought to be SEC coach of the year (strong showing from Spurrier and Brooks however).
So I'm looking forward to Kansas vs. Texas A&M, Ohio State at Penn State and Arizona State vs. Cal.
Is this the craziest damn year we've seen since ... well, I don't know when? If Michigan drops to Minnesota (how the hell could that happen?) or Alabama beat LSU ... I think its Oregon vs. LSU right now for the national title. Oregon's super hot offense vs. LSU's super hot defense. You've wanted a Pac Ten vs. SEC title game. Looks to me like it just may very well happen.
